Sister Jacinta Miryam
Sister Jacinta Miryam is originally from Willingboro, NJ, where she was blessed with a wonderful childhood in which the gift of faith, prayer, and a great love and respect for life were imparted to her. She attributes this beautifully formative environment to her parents, who were open to life and allowed her to enjoy growing up with 12 siblings, and who always made decisions guided by the love of God and commitment to keeping His commandments.
Having discerned a religious call with a special devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Sister Jacinta entered the Congregation of the Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus directly after finishing high school. During her life as a religious, she has been able to enjoy a variety of apostolates that include: religious instruction, enthronement of homes to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, music ministry, teaching, campus ministry, formation and administrative work, and organizing spiritual renewals and retreats for various age groups. She looks forward to working at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish!
