Congratulations on your engagement! We are excited for you to celebrate the joyful occasion of your marriage. Because the Sacrament of Marriage is a solemn, life-long commitment, our parish requires all couples planning a wedding at Sacred Heart to notify the church office nine months in advance of the proposed wedding date in order to allow for sufficient preparation. As a community, we want to make sure that every bride and groom have the understanding and support they need for a successful marriage. May God bless you as you begin this journey together. And may St. Agnes, patroness of engaged couples, pray for you, too!

Marriage Preparation

Marriage preparation should begin at least nine (9) months prior to the proposed wedding date. Before marriage preparation begins, a Catholic party to the engagement must be registered at our parish for at least six (6) months.
