Richard Fish
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

Deacon Fish comes from a family of 3 children, and remains close with his sisters and parents. Although originally from New York, his family relocated to Massachusetts in the 1990s. Deacon Fish received his Bachelor of Music from Ithaca College, his Bachelor of Sacred Theology from St. Joseph's Seminary, Dunwoodie, and his Master of Divinity from St. Joseph Seminary, Dunwoodie. He also received his M.S. Ed.(Moderate Special Needs Education, 5-12) from Simmons College. He has Massachusetts Professional Licenses in Music and Moderate Special Needs. He was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in 2023. Prior to joining the staff of Sacred Heart, Deacon Fish was the Director of Performing Arts from 1995-2011 at Landmark School in Beverly, Massachusetts, as well as the Director of Performing Arts from 2011-2024 at St. John Paul II School in Hyannis, Massachusetts. He has led 27 choir tours both domestically and internationally during his career thus far. Deacon Fish is married to his wife, Laureen, and they have three children-- who they have raised on Cape Cod for the past 13 years, all while living near family, and working at St. John Paul II School together. Deacon Fish is a devoted New York Yankees fan, and loves to work with his hands, building and renovating the family’s home.
