Please review this note from Bishop Walkowiak: While there is an exemption for parishioners who “remove a mask while engaging in religious worship at a house of religious worship,” diocesan guidelines require parishioners wear a mask when participating in the celebration of Mass or a sacrament. Please come to church with your mask and wear it unless you are medically unable to do so!
Bishop Walkowiak has extended the dispensation for all Catholics within the territory of the Diocese of Grand Rapids from their obligation of attending Sunday Mass through Labor Day, September 7.
