All are welcome and encouraged to join us for this year’s “Festival of Lessons and Carols for the Season of Advent” on Thursday, December 12, at 6:30 pm. Sister Mary Daniel has arranged a wonderful selection of music that will be sung by the Academy’s 6th, 7th, CEC 7th/8th, 9th, and CEC 11th/12th Sacred Music classes. “Lessons and Carols” is an evening for prayer and reflection where seasonally appropriate hymns/carols are mixed with readings from scripture. If you have not previously attended, please consider making it a new Advent tradition. You will be glad you did!

Every year SHA gives out around 650-700k in scholarships to our students and families, ensuring ANYONE who wishes to send their children to our Academy is able to do so. Some of these monies come in the form of both diocesan and private grants, but the rest comes from generous investors who support our Patronis Cordis (friend of the heart) scholarship initiative within the Annual Fund. Please consider being a “friend of the heart” as a Living Stone investor on November 5, and assist our students directly through Patronis Cordis! ![]()
