Current Update:

This week work continued on the school and sacristy windows and the new sound system in the sanctuary was installed. Projects in the sanctuary will resume this winter. Below is a list of projects that you can expect to see from now until spring!

√ Broken windows in the academy and sacristies replaced

  • Window work in the nave will continue with new frames installed and the beginning of the stained glass restoration

 √ New sound system installed

  • Reredos added (decorative shelf for the candles, relics, and tabernacle)
  • Stand for angel statues that will flank the altar and pulpit added
  • Build out the side shrines for the Blessed Mother and Sacred Heart statues
  • A new baptismal font installed
  • Sanctuary floor refinishedIt will be an exciting time at Sacred Heart. The hope is that most of the work is done by Easter 2024. Please pray for the workmen, artists, and contractors involved.

Previous Update:

We had a brief pause in our restoration work to celebrate the birth of our Lord! The projects will start back up on January 3rd. Thankfully we will be able to continue to have Mass in the upper church during the remaining work. Below is a list of projects that you can expect to see from now until spring!
