A Note from Father Robert….CSA Update

UPDATE: We are now a few months into our annual diocesan CSA appeal. As you may be aware, the diocese relies on the funds generated by all the churches to run the programs throughout the diocese including Catholic schools, Seminarian formation, and Christian Outreach. This year our goal is $87,670.00, as of 9/11/19, the total pledged is $57,455 and total paid is $46,203. Total left to raise is $41,467. We ask for 100% participation from our parishWhether you can give $1, $50, or $5,000, your gift is much needed and appreciated which gets our parish closer to the goal. Prayerfully discern what you can contribute. Please note: Whatever balance is left at the end of the campaign comes out of the parish’s operating budget. Alternatively, whatever is raised over the goal comes back to us. Thank you and God Bless. Fr. Robert

This weekend marks the beginning of the 2019 Diocesan Catholic Services Appeal. Parishes have two options for running their pledge drives and Sacred Heart has opted for the Easter versus Lenten campaign. As you may be aware, the diocese relies on the funds generated by all the churches to run the programs throughout the diocese including Catholic schools, Seminarian formation, and Christian Outreach. This year our goal is $87,670. We ask for 100% participation from our parish. If you have not received a pledge card in the mail, please contact the parish office or look in the back of church. Whether you can give $1, $50, or $5,000, your gift is much needed and appreciated which gets our parish closer to the goal. Thank you and God Bless. Fr. Robert

Dear Friends,

It has been very edifying to see our Masses fill up so quickly. We opened up another 20+ spots per Mass this morning which will bring some of our Masses to capacity. Please know that while we can't guarantee you get into the Mass of your choice please know that Father Sirico and I are committed to everyone getting into Mass. At least for a few weeks please be flexible as we priests are trying to be. If you can't reserve a spot on the "Sign-up Genius" PLEASE DO email or call the office ASAP to get on the waiting list for the Mass of your choice. Again as Fr. Sirico and I said in the virtual town hall meetings we are committed to ensuring that everyone can get into a Mass, so the sooner we get you on the waiting list the sooner we can let you know how we can accommodate you and make plans to so so.

Joyful awaiting the Spirit of Peace,

Fr. Ron

PS: you can reach Mrs. Hiske in the office quickly by email at ahiske@sacredheartgr.org

We try to keep this page mostly for parish happenings, but we thought you would enjoy this one....Our Sacred Heart Academy teacher, Mrs. Katie Welch changed the words and sent to her fourth grade students this week.

What a year this has been for Sacred Heart Academy!
