First Town Hall Meeting – Round 2

Chat Question & Answers  Round 2, Mtg 1

Dear Sacred Heart Parishioners,

May the resurrected Lord be with you all!  As we march through the Easter season toward Pentecost I would like us to “get together” once again, if for no other reason than that I miss you all! To that end I would like to initiate another round of virtual town hall meetings.  Even though the public Masses have been suspended and the parish office has been closed, rest assured my brother priests and I have been offering our Masses for you and that the staff and volunteers of Sacred Heart have been working diligently to see that all of you have been contacted and needs addressed.  I would like to update you on several things coming up in our parish and in the community and give you a glimpse of what our return might look like going forward.  The town halls will mirror the format as the first round where the content will be the same but that you have two opportunities to join. The only difference will be that on Thursday we will have a brief prayer time in honor of our Lord’s Ascension into Heaven.  That will be at the outset of the town hall, if for those attending on Monday, you may wish to us just for the beginning on Ascension Thursday.  So, the first is Monday May 18th at 4:45pm and the second is Thursday May 21st at 4:45pm.  The link is: https://meet.google.com/txn-rrsd-hro I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Yours in Christ,

Fr. Robert

First Town Hall Meeting

Chat Questions & Answers – Mtg 1

For those of you who joined in either of these meetings or both, it was so nice to see you and hear from you all. This is a great way to put new faces and names together, too!

First Letter from Father Sirico:

Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus Family:

I thought it would be a good idea for us to gather as a community for one of two Town Hall Meetings which I am planning to host following Easter. I wanted to share with you some thoughts that I hope will be encouraging, and frankly just wanted to get us to connect as a community. I miss being with you all personally, but thanks to technology we have at least a virtual opportunity to “get together”. You will be able to hear and see me, and we can also arrange for you to comment or ask questions. The first was Thursday April 16 at 4:45pm and the second is April 21 at 4:45pm via Google Meet: meet.google.com/rwg-kvrs-mxv

The platform holds 250 people so if you can’t get in, it’s because we’re at capacity so plan to join the second. Know of my love and prayers in these coming holy days. Fr. Robert

Dear Friends,

It has been very edifying to see our Masses fill up so quickly. We opened up another 20+ spots per Mass this morning which will bring some of our Masses to capacity. Please know that while we can't guarantee you get into the Mass of your choice please know that Father Sirico and I are committed to everyone getting into Mass. At least for a few weeks please be flexible as we priests are trying to be. If you can't reserve a spot on the "Sign-up Genius" PLEASE DO email or call the office ASAP to get on the waiting list for the Mass of your choice. Again as Fr. Sirico and I said in the virtual town hall meetings we are committed to ensuring that everyone can get into a Mass, so the sooner we get you on the waiting list the sooner we can let you know how we can accommodate you and make plans to so so.

Joyful awaiting the Spirit of Peace,

Fr. Ron

Sacred Heart of Jesus

We try to keep this page mostly for parish happenings, but we thought you would enjoy this one....Our Sacred Heart Academy teacher, Mrs. Katie Welch changed the words and sent to her fourth grade students this week.

What a year this has been for Sacred Heart Academy!
