A few weeks ago, Fr. Ron learned that Sr. Angela Marie has been asked by her Mother General to return to her convent to take on a new role in her congregation at the end of this school year. We are saddened to lose such a joyful, humble presence in the academy and parish, but know that God has great things in store for those who follow His will! Please pray for Sr. Angela Marie, the sisters in our convent, and that another sister is sent to us next fall.

As disruptive as any change can feel, we want to assure you that there will be no interruption to our Montessori program at Sacred Heart. Mary Forrester, who has been training to be a Montessori teacher for the past two years with us, will take over Sister’s classroom. She, in fact, has been leading Mrs. Germano’s classroom since she departed on maternity leave before Christmas. Mrs. Germano will return to her former classroom next school year and Ms Forrester will lead Sr. Angela Marie’s former classroom. Please let us know if you have any questions. parishoffice@shgr.org
